If you lack the patience to manage your drivers, you can make your life easier with Driver Checker. This lightweight application can identify all your hardware components and check their drivers. It lets you know which drivers are out of date and it provides options for updating them.

Driver Checker is compatible with numerous Windows editions, from Win 2000 to Win 8. It can be installed in a few moments and it does not use too many resources. You don't have to install any additional tools and you don't have to reboot your computer, before running the application.

The software provides several useful features, which are organized in different sections, on a user friendly interface. The driver scanner and updater is the most important feature. You just need to click a button and the application will scan all drivers, for video and sound cards, USB drives, Wi-Fi and many other devices.

When the scanning process is complete, your drivers will appear in a list. Up to date and obsolete drivers are displayed with different colors and you can switch to a different list, if you wish to see only the obsolete drivers. Once you proceed to the next step, you can review the out of date drivers and click a series of Download options to start updating.

It is also possible to back up and restore your drivers, which can be quite useful if you install a wrong driver. Additionally, you can explore your drivers as a single file.
